[Games] Way of the Fighter - Technique Packs

Preview of Chi Style Yang Technique Pack from the Kickstarter

Updated on 5/6/2017: Various Techniques renamed (Push to Overpower, Knock to Knockdown, Forward to Velocity). In Way of the Fighters, you have the ability to adjust how your character plays through selection of 4 Technique Packs. Each character select Technique Packs based on the Style requirements listed on their Character cards. The 30 Technique Packs are divided into 5 Styles: Chi, Fluid, Hard, Soft, and Wrestle.

The game is still under development. but I plan to update this blog entry as more Technique Pack cards are revealed. Listed after each action is the type of action and its priority value in parenthesis.

Chi Style Technique Packs

"The Chi style relies on inner spiritual energies to enhance supranormal power and even create energy projectiles. Fighters practice the style under the School of the Dragon, known for its mystical nature and inner focus, Masters of the chi style reduce the options available to their opponent with long range projectile attacks, and use their power to grant themselves a unique edge." - Page 34, Way of the Fighter Rulebook
