My Hobby and Blog in December 2017

The last month of 2017. A look back at what has been accomplished (not as much as I would like!) and a look forward to 2018. In 2017, I experimented more on creating scenery, accessories, and storage than on painting miniatures. I am expecting some additional hobby material next year that I believe will make painting miniatures more comfortable.

The celebration of Reaper's 25th Anniversary was a popular event for me. Reaper continues this for 2018 with Dungeon Dwellers. Like the 25th Anniversary, every month will feature a new model that customers can get for free for purchasing a certain amount on their webstore. The only difference is that these new figures are not a one time release.

[Games] Warhammer Underworlds - Supremacy

Only by restoring the Faneway mirror can one hope to escape Shadespire. Only the bold can achieve such a task.
This is part of a series of entries to collect and organize my thoughts on the objective and power cards in the Warhammer Underworlds game. As more cards become available through new releases, the value of putting a specific card into your objective or power decks will likely change. My goal is to update these entries as the meta of the game changes with new releases. This entry was written after the release of Sepulchral Guard and Ironskull's Boyz Expansions.

[Log] Workshop 4 - Magnetized Transport and Tray

I have been thinking for a while now on a custom system for storing, transporting, and displaying my miniatures. Over the past years, I browse through the internet looking at others' custom storage and transport systems. In addition, I considered commercial storage and transport system products. This got put on the sideline when I backed a Kickstarter project for a modular transport tray. In short, that campaign failed to produce a product. So I am back to working on that custom system.
My work in progress modular transport system for my miniatures.
I decided that my custom system will all have some type of magnetic receptive surface since all my painted miniatures have some form of a magnet placed underneath its base. The image above is my work in progress modular transport container.
